I didn't tell Qingxuan all of the details, mostly because it was a bit of a personal warning: Eleanor told me to be careful, because there's a number of backstabbers amongst us. Vlad asked me to tell Ming Yi that he's on 'thin ice.'

More relevant to everyone else, she told me that we're being used as fuel for the ship, with the dead being used first. Additionally, the dead sometimes receive visions.

Anyway, it sounded as though all of the messages were trying to convey that we ought to discuss things more openly among us, and also that we ought to be indulging more.
The fuel is certainly interesting - perhaps when added to the exhortations to indulge, the meaning is that we can create additional fuel which will prevent the dead from being consumed?
I think we wanted to do another meeting anyway, so we should just get that out of the way tomorrow. We need to discuss what to do with the rat too.

That may be Gluttony's opinion on matters, or it may be true. I've asked a few times, as has Mollymauk, about his ability to use his wish for Beauregard, and no one has suggested that will not be possible. Whether we can simply restore them to the living is perhaps another matter.

At least, that's my understanding of an arrangement I have not wanted to inquire into to deeply out of fear of learning lurid details. Still, even if I put that all aside, I find him contemptible and a considerable threat to all of us.

Last week, I had a conversation with Wrath. Yuri told me about breaking into the security room; that he'd seen on the camera something prowling the halls at night on the night Tamaki was killed. I asked her about it, and she. . . seemed utterly panicked. She acted as though both she and I were in danger by virtue of my knowing this information, and refused to speak further until I assured her I wouldn't say another word to her about it.
From what I could gather, this is because there is something that is watching them, and she didn't want to draw its attention to me. And since then, I have thought back on other conversations and wondered - was this also something I was told I ought not to look into? Greed told me that the life support room is not worthy of our time or attention - is that why he said so?
I dislike neither of them, but I think it is perhaps unfair to continue to force them to be dishonest with us, assuming they're here to guide us to what we would like to accomplish, when we've known all along they're here for a purpose that doesn't necessarily align with ours.
