[Well, Harrow was dragged here by Molly under the argument that it was an indulgence to spend all day lazing around in the spa, so. That's what she's doing. But also, some friends are invited? Or were bullied by others into coming?

Harrow is hanging out in the spa - she's being very much an awkward teen at a pool party, still dressed in an undershirt and shorts in the water, because she's not sitting here naked with you fucks. But she is relaxing in the warm water, with a mask on instead of face paint, sipping a glass of water with lemon and a little sugar in it as a tasty treat.

She seems to be having trouble truly relaxing? But it's fine.]

b. cosmetics

[At the end of the spa party, Harrow is using the assorted makeup to redo her face paint. But if you've ever wanted to get some cool skull makeup, come over? She can do you, too?]

...I always wondered how you did that. It looks really good!

Ah. It's only paint. [But she's pretty good at the detail work - dark lines and shading. The skull she wears on a day to day basis is pretty simple, but she can change it up.]

This is the classic Ninth House Mask of Death, though there are others that are far more intricate.

[molly's dick is probably not out because harrow and half the other people in this room would probably fucking kill him, but it's yalls loss. He's taken off most everything else that could get ruined by spa water though except one shiny new earring that he seems more reluctant to part with.

Also enjoying a nice sugar lemon water treat that also definitely is not water. it's just clear liquor. don't worry about it. someone will probably pull him out if he starts to drown.]

This is always the first thing I do when I roll into a new town. Find the bathhouse. Can't believe it took five weeks to get a proper one.

. . . It isn't terrible. My family used to use a ceremonial pool beneath the crypt for private prayer and contemplation and discussion of matters of highest secrecy. It's similar.

I thought I'd dislike it - it isn't very productive, just lying here in the heat, but it isn't bad.

[ oh, she watches harrow as she starts putting her face paint on. she's probably spotted her in-progress before, but it's still interesting. vira is just checking some normal everyday makeup. ]

You must be very practiced at applying all that by now. [ it's a lot to do Every Day. ]

[Yeah, Vira is probably one of the few here who've seen her often without makeup, since she usually takes it off when she's just hanging out in the room in the evening, and puts it on in the morning.]

It's something I learned when I was very young; part of the appropriate attire for a daughter of the Ninth House. I am no longer obligated to wear it, but it would be odd to go without.

[ vira will be wearing a swimsuit because sasazuka is going to get dragged here inevitably. joel is also here. anyway she can be found dozing off during a soak, putting together a mud mask or other silly skin treatment, or going through various nail polish pots looking for a particular color, looking decently relaxed? only people she likes are here, so it's fine. ]

Red is usually my color... though I don't often wear lacquers. They don't play nicely with armor.

It's nice to finally have an opportunity to rest and relax, isn't it? I haven't much liked most of the rooms here.
